buildingSMART International Appoints Evandro Alfieri as Quality & Delivery Director

London, March 14, 2025 – buildingSMART International is proud to announce the appointment of Evandro Alfieri as its new Quality & Delivery Director. Evandro has played a key role in several initiatives within buildingSMART, including serving as the Product Manager of the IFC Validation Service and Lead of the IFC Implementers Forum. He has also supported the Accelerator Program and acted as International Program Coordinator for the Technical Domain.

With a strong background in organizing and facilitating workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on sessions at buildingSMART Summits, Evandro brings extensive experience in product and project delivery.

The creation of the Quality & Delivery Director role marks a significant milestone for buildingSMART, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring the success of strategically important projects. Evandro’s subject-matter expertise makes him ideally suited to oversee critical roadmap initiatives and support the adoption and implementation of buildingSMART Solutions & Standards. His leadership will help ensure these efforts are executed with precision, quality, and alignment with the organization’s mission. In addition to overseeing project delivery, Evandro will continue leading the IFC Implementers Forum and managing the delivery of IFC-related strategic services.
