buildingSMART International are delighted to announce the following new members.

From the rail environment; Deutsche Bahn Netze Germany, SBB Swiss Railway Federation, ÖBB Austria and SNCF Reseau France.

These organisations are collaborating with China BIM Rail, Liikennevirasto Finnish Transport Agency and Trafikverket Swedish Transport Administration, within the Infrastructure Room to deliver a new IFC Rail Standard as described in a recent news bulletin.

Bexel Consulting, a high-tech construction and engineering construction organisation who have representation in Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and North America.

FM Global are a risk mitigation and loss prevention organisation with 200 years of experience.

HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions who deliver for their clients everything from financing to planning and construction to operation from a single source.

CRB Swiss Centre for Construction provide standards for planning, execution and management.

BIM Loket are an openBIM community forum in the Netherlands.

This respected and diverse portfolio of new members adds to the already robust community and reflects the surge in demand that for openBIM solutions that was evident at our recent Standards Summit in Barcelona.

All these organisations will also have membership in one or more of our Chapters.

Richard Petrie, buildingSMART Chief Executive stated that the built asset industry has been clamouring for improvement for sometime and that it is gratifying that more organisations are recognising that the solutions provided through buildingSMART are the key.
