ABSTRACT:

The presentation shows the results of the Candidate Standard IfcBridge application to two significant case studies. They are an existing arched masonry bridge and a girder steel-concrete bridge to be built . After an in-depth analysis of standard 4.2 and the needs of the Italian market both for clients and professionals, the Classes for each of the two use cases were recognised and mapped. Based on these the bridges were modelled with different software. It was then possible to identify critical issues of the standard itself and others related to the modeling and the IFCexport quality.

L’intervento presenta i risultati dell’applicazione del Candiate Standard IfcBridge a due casi studio significativi. Si tratta di un ponte esistente ad arco in muratura e il progetto per la costruzione di un ponte a travata misto acciaio calcestruzzo. Dopo un’attenta analisi dello standard 4.2 e delle esigenze del mercato italiano sia per le committenze che per i professionisti del settore, sono state riconosciute e mappate le classi per ciascuno dei due casi d’uso e sulla base di queste sono stati modellati con diversi software. È stato poi possibile individuare delle criticità riconducibili alla struttura dello standard e altre alla modellazione e alla qualità dell’export.
