Webinar: IFC Ports & Waterways Expert Panel: Property Sets & Implementations (10am BST)

The IFC for Ports & Waterways project, which is part of the Infrastructure Room within buildingSMART International, aims to extend the IFC data model into the Maritime domain by describing the semantics and geometry of ports, waterways navigational facilities.
Following the review of our Requirements Analysis Report in November 2018, the final version was published in March 2019. Based on this the Project team developed our taxonomy of terms and IFC conceptual Model which was harmonised as part of a collaborative effect between Road, Rail and Ports & Waterways projects. The team has now developed a set of property sets to compliment the IFC conceptual models in relation to highlighted use cases.
How to provide your feedback
• Review the Property sets developments and associated documentation.
• Please send your initial feedback and questions to infrastructure@buildingsmart.org
During the webinar we will look to respond to as much of your feedback as possible. We are also planning to address more detailed questions to you during the event. The event is expected to run between 1.5 to 2 hours depending on questions and content.
