Time to play together with IFC 4.3!
We are organizing a serious game, during the buildingSMART International Standards Summit in Rome, to give the opportunity to use IFC 4.3, and to see how it fits into the openBIM workflows.

The players will be divided into international teams, and each team will specify, produce and validate an IFC 4.3 railway model. Don't worry, we will provide everything you need to accomplish these tasks including data, means, and coaching. We will also ask software vendors to provide trial licenses and basic training.

Everybody will be a winner, since you will be part of the first buildingSMART International game ever organized. But, let's be honest, a game without a prize is not a game! Thus, we will reward the team that produces the best data in the shortest amount of time.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the openBIM community and to see IFC 4.3 in action, in an international stimulating environment.

Are you an international friend of the Railway Room, willing to play? Send an email to giulia.minnucci@engisis.com: tell us your name, the organization you work for, and your role. We expect players to i) know what an alignment is, ii) have a basic understanding of IFC, iii) be available to use software for BIM authoring and validation, and iv) register for the event here.
