The buildingSMART International Standards Summit is Postponed Until 8-11, June 2020

London, (March 3, 2020) – Due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19), buildingSMART International (bSI) and buildingSMART Norway (bSN) have postponed the International Standards Summit that was due to take place between 23-26 March 2020 in Lillestrøm, Norway. The event has been rescheduled at the same location for the week 8-11, June 2020.

buildingSMART International is extremely sorry for the change and would like to thank our community for their understanding and appreciates its support in getting through this difficult situation.

The International Council and Chapter Conference which was due to take place in Rome, Italy, 2-4 June 2020 has been cancelled and combined with the new dates.

What happens to my ticket?

Your ticket has automatically been transferred to the new dates based on the ticket you purchased. We hope you to make it in June. For those who cannot make the new date, please get in touch with bSI.

What about my hotel?

If you booked directly with the hotel or as part of the group booking and relevant code, bookings at the Thon and the Scandic will be moved to the new dates. If you booked via a third-party, your booking will need to be amended by yourself.

What about my flight?

You will have to contact your airline to make the changes to your flights. We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.

I’m a sponsor, what does this mean for me?

Your sponsorship agreement remains and will be transferred to the new date in June. We are combining another event into this one, but the full arrangements remain.

I’m a speaker at the event, what now?

There are no program changes to the event, it has been moved to a new date. Please get in touch if you cannot make the new date.

Can I still book a ticket for the new date?

Yes, the registration for the event has been transferred and ticket sales are still on.
