InfraBIM Open 2021 Event in Lyon, France Postponed

London, U.K. – July 30, 2021  InfraBIM Open 2021 - the international conference dedicated to digital transformation and interoperability - has been postponed to 10-12 January 2022. The organisers decided that with the new the Delta variant and the possibly of further restrictions that the event should be postponed. This included the virtual element of the event which will all take place in January.

About the event:

This event was in response to the growing need for interoperability and collaboration for the industry. The event included:

  • 2 plenary sessions focused on infrastructure issues such as low carbon and the European digital strategy
  • More than 55 technical speakers and 19 countries represented to share best practice, case studies and innovations
  • Speakers included: Richard Petrie (bSI), Bart de Lathouwer (OGC), Adelaïde Feraille (ENPC), Arvea Marieni (strategy advisor and innovation manager specialising in environmental cooperation between the EU and China), Souheil Soubra (President of EUBTG), Ilektra Papadako (Policy Officer for digital construction and built environment at the European Commission - DG GROW)
  • Exhibition area to meet IBO21 partners with networking
